A Home For Everyone In DeKalb (AHFEID), a nonprofit dedicated to combating homelessness in DeKalb County, proudly announces the appointment of Gregory White as its new Executive Director. Mr. White brings over three decades of leadership, advocacy, and community engagement experience, reinforcing the organization’s mission to provide sustainable housing solutions and essential supportive services for the unhoused community.
Most recently serving as an Outreach Advocate with Frontline Response, Mr. White worked hands-on with individuals experiencing homelessness, helping secure emergency housing and develop plans for long-term stability. His extensive experience includes building partnerships with elected officials and community organizations to advance policies that support vulnerable populations.

Mr. White’s leadership record includes:
Overseeing a $7.2 million budget and leading a team of 27 as Director of Decatur Parks and Recreation.
Successfully merging two departments into a unified Decatur Parks and Recreation Department, assisting with the adoption of a city-wide Recreation Master Plan.
Raising $325,000 to renovate McKoy Skate Park, while also managing critical support services such as warming and cooling centers for unhoused individuals.
Earning induction into the Georgia Recreation and Park Association Hall of Fame and serving as its President in 2021.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. White holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tuskegee University and an MBA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional skill in strategic leadership, fiscal management, and team development.
